Anastasio's Boathouse Cafe — Establishment, food and cafe at 307 Front Street, New Haven, Connecticut.

Just a small, simple little place that seems to have a set of regulars, mostly older. We came for breakfast. It would have been great if the weather had been better, but we're from out of state and still appreciated the appeal of our window seat. If you're sentimental about Kraft foods you'll appreciate the food. American cheese in the omelette, sliced lunch meat cooked for the breakfast ham, individually wrapped prepackaged pancake syrup (Kraft), and I'm certain the toast had margarine instead of butter. The pancakes were bland but did have real blueberries. The prices were moderate and the waitress was nice. Overall middle of the road experience but it did have its charm.
