Avis Car Rental — Establishment and car rental at 155 Burr Street, Tweed-New Haven Airport, New Haven, Connecticut.

Well I never rented from Avis before whether it was for local occasions or on vacation because they were always more expensive & I felt they wouldn't be worth the money. Unfortunately I had no other options recently. Got a car at Union Ave in New Haven then dropped it at Tweed New Haven airport. Had it 1 day & they charged my mother $ 134 for an economy car. $66 was for gas because they said we didn't fill it up. Then told me if I have the gas receipt they would take it off. I never thought I would need a receipt. They are supposed to be a reputable company.Who thought they would outright lie & say it was on half tank instead of full which it was I got gas right before I dropped it off. They have the nerve to say they charge $10 a gallon for gas!!!! Asked to speak to a manager & never got 1. This is y I never rented with them I new they would be cheaters!! They are by far 1 of the worst company's I've ever dealt with.
